Today we’d like to introduce you to Whitney Davis.
Whitney, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
So, I got into Youtubing because I wanted to be able to have an outlet in my life at the time I was working from home and that’s how most of my life went. The only time I got out was to pick up the kids and back home and so if I was going to be at home, I was going to try and make the best out of it, possibly making some money if I could.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has NOT been smooth! 6 months into me starting, I got hacked and it was hard, they wiped out ALL my videos and placed some ugly remarks throughout my page. I had to start over! It was hard initially, but I eventually picked myself up and revamped my page! Got my subscriptions up and views up within six months I had gained over 1,000 subs and over 200,000 views and got myself monetized to wear I can say I am now getting paid to do something I LOVE!
Please tell us about your work.
I’m a Youtuber. My channel is about inspiration, my views on products, services, celebrity gossip and more! I’m known for “keeping it REAL” and using “Common sense” along the way. I’m proud to have grown so fast in such a little time, after going through what I did.
