Meet Xable Daniel in Downtown/Uptown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Xable Daniel.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always loved the beauty world ever since I was a little girl, so it was only right I pursued a cosmetology career. In 2011, I went to Remington college full time and graduated with my high honors cosmetology operators license. A year later, I then went on to work in a hair salon that I didn’t love so much, needless to say, that was short lived. A few months after the salon fiasco, I figured I’d do something that I wasn’t really taught in cosmo school. I applied for a department store beauty consultant position at only eighteen years old, I got hired as a beauty supervisor. The very first paying job that I actually enjoyed. Working as a consultant taught me to have the patience for others and always be polite because you never who may be watching you. After almost two years of working at a department store, I told my self “Xable! You are going to leave here and master and accomplish things that you wouldn’t think is possible.” Moments after that pep talk, I applied for a body waxing place because a friend persuaded me that it was easier and faster money. I worked in a waxing franchise that taught me so much and made me realize a lot about myself.

By working at a waxing parlor, I learned that if I’m going to be working for the rest of my life, I should be my own boss who makes my own rules. Not to mention, I’ve already mastered hair, makeup, selling skills, and now body waxing! within a few months eleven months to be exact I became extremely bored of removing hair from people’s not so pretty places if you know what I mean! I applied for my next job but only this time, I was attaching hair and not removing it, eyelash extensions that is. For a few months, I thought to myself wow! I will never be able to master this. One day, I came to work so determined to become a master lash Technician because I thought it would fulfill me. It didn’t.

Once I became a “master” lash tech, I finally conjured up enough courage to give myself a deadline to be a freelance makeup artist, lash tech, body waxer! And I did. throughout the years I met and became very close to my clients. We grew together! Here I am now, only twenty-four years of age and I’ve met a lot of wise women and men who have encouraged me to keep pursuing my dreams because dreams do come true. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it weren’t for the admiration and support I get from my clients, family, and friends.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I failed to mention I had my child when I was only sixteen. My son was around six months old when I proudly walked the stage to receive my diploma. I believe in life there is no such thing as a smooth road unless you are privileged, and that I was not blessed with.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Xable of Dallas – what should we know?
Xable of Dallas is an up and coming brand with a lot to offer. Specializing in makeup application and eyelashes extensions. I’m most proud of a handful of celebrity clients I’ve had the opportunity to work with. What sets me apart from others is I’m genuine, and I do not judge others. I take pride in my work. I try to relate to my clients as much as possible, I’m extremely easy to be comfortable around. I love to see others succeed and reach pinnacles.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My mother and my son are some of the few people who have always been my cheerleader. My mother taught me to always be a strong independent woman, and my father who has helped me raise my child. When I had my son at such a young age, I knew I had to set an example for his years to come. Throughout the years, I’ve run across many extremely wise people who always had the best advice.
