Yasma, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my business by the grace of God! I was laid off from a position within corporate America of 7 years. I took the lay off as a blessing to my own business.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been many struggles along the way…. but that’s what made me stronger and more eager to be successful. Nothing worth having is easy getting or keeping.

I specialize in natural hair and extensions. I take pride in knowing that my clients trust me to take care of their hair and that is what I am most proud of! The support and loyalty I receive from my clients.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My education is the most important quality to my success because I must always be up to date on the latest trends, hairstyles and products.
