Today we’d like to introduce you to Yavanté.
Hi Yavanté, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I’m Yavante! Cosmetics line owner, makeup artist, photographer. & content creator. I started my journey in the beauty industry in high school. From doing make-up for big shows, to now owning my very own cosmetics line that I am proud to say- is making a mark in the beauty industry.
I strive to be the best that I can be in all that I do, and photography is no different for me! I aim to provide the best work that I can and bring my client’s vision to life. My ultimate goal is to become someone that people can look to and say, “Because she did it, so can I!”
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
One thing I can definitely say that I’ve learned throughout my journey in becoming an entrepreneur is that there are no shortcuts to success. It requires consistency, hard work, dedication, and focus.
1) You have to believe in yourself and set healthy goals.
2) Always challenge yourself to become better! Plan, Do, Review.
3) Never settle or become complacent.
In life, when things don’t pan out the way we may have planned, or God shifts us in a different direction, we can be at peace knowing we gave it 100% and that God will absolutely honor that.
Nothing comes easy, you absolutely have to do the work. You have to be prayed up and never give up on what God has for you because His promises will always come true. Truth be told, many people miss success because oftentimes it comes dressed in overalls and looks a lot like work! I have never wanted to be the person that missed success because I wasn’t willing to do the work.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Beauty comes in all forms. Whether it’s music, fashion, photography, as well as make- up artistry. I love it all. It’s truly a love of mine to be able to express my creativity with people from all over world. I love the significance of creating a one-of-a-kind custom experience for each client.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I’m not one to really believe in luck. I do believe that God works in miraculous ways. Faith is your belief put into action. I have experienced that the result of that action has lead to God adding His ‘Super” to my “Natural ‘ by blessing the work of my hands. I love calling them blessings.
