Today we’d like to introduce you to Yesenia Pirela-Arikan
Hi Yesenia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’m from Venezuela and moved to the U.S in my early 20s. I’ve since lived and traveled across Europe, the Americas and Asia. I’m currently living in Istanbul. My background in Real Estate and Hospitality has refined my attention to detail and the ability to create exceptional experiences. My enthusiasm for fashion led me to start my own business. While struggling to find elegant feminine clothing, I saw an opportunity and decided to persuade the fashion world.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Finding the right manufacturing company for your boutique brand can be challenging due the high standard for detail and quality. Structuring and executing a digital marketing strategy can also be complex because you often need to work with people specializing in different area of marketing and it is rare to find all skills in one person.
As you know, we’re big fans of Pera Fashion Boutique. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and explored different fields. I started in hospitality, then worked in the oil industry in Venezuela with an American company. In 2015, I began working in real estate and now I manage my own properties. My dedicated passion for creating exceptional experiences, has inspired me to design clothing for today’s women.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
We are always looking for fresh perspectives and innovated ideas. We like to collaborate with fashion designers. We rely a lot on digital marketing. If you are a boutique or retailer, retailing partnership is something we can discuss. Like stocking my collection in your store. At the moment we are actually looking forward to collaborate with an influencer and as far as our consumer goes we love to keep in touch with them through our social media and always hear their feedback.
