Today we’d like to introduce you to Yuko Moon.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my journey of healing almost four years ago. I went through a period of depression and started to look into holistic practices for healing. I got introduced to crystals and energy and I can whole hardheartedly say it changed my life forever and for the better. Eventually, I got into chakra healing and formulated the plan for my store. In 2019 I created The Sacred Moon as a platform to encourage and inform others of knowledge of self. My goal is to teach people the true power of manifestation, chakra balancing, meditation, self-love and care, alternative healing through crystals, bath salts, candles and rituals/prayers. Here I am two years later and I must say I am so excited for the future of my store. I’ve always been one to help people through situations, however helping my peers heal gives me another sense of purpose. I strongly encourage shadow work (healing trauma and old scars), and to see my clients taking charge of their lives makes me extremely happy.
My store’s products (bath salts, crystals, intention candles) are designed to help you manifest and heal. Each of my Intention candles come with affirmations to aid you in manifesting. Please not that while my healing aid will help you manifest what you desire, It still takes effort from you. My store is geared towards self-love, self-care, and most importantly, TAPPING INTO YOUR FEMININITY! I help may women by informing them of their power! I help them realign themselves with their womb or Yoni using Yoni steams, Yoni eggs, and Yoni oils. Not only do they get the benefits of pampering themselves and relaxing, they also manifest and heal from sexual traumas! The Sacred Moon Waist beads are created to be worn for healing, empowerment, or meditative purposes, your intention for wearing should be clear in your mind’s eye. Women who adorn themselves with waist beads for intentional purposes are likely to stay focused on the path, thing, or feeling that they are intending. Through meditation and intent, you can use color to tune into the powers of the universe and bring balance into your life. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I didn’t have that many struggles when it came to more stores. However, I will say when you step into your truth or purpose, you will have many discouraging moments. I went through a period of doubt. I felt like this lane was considered taboo to many and to most, the market was over-saturated. One thing I learned is that what is for you will always be for you. You had a purpose before anyone had an opinion, so DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY! BE YOUR BEST AUTHENTIC SELF! I had to change my whole angle. I used to want to share my knowledge with the world ( I still do), but now it’s like me message will resonate with whom it belongs to. So once I changed my mindset, I guess you can say everything fell into place.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am known as the Jack of all Trades. I started out baking, selling hair, doing Locs to save foe my store. While I have my store, The Sacred Moon, I also do nails. The fact that I turn my passions into profit is def what makes me different. I’m blessed to have a very good balance in life to where I can actually experiment with my hobbies, and hustling is what I’m good at, lol, so why not make it into income!
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I’ve learned so far is that I had a purpose before anyone had an opinion of me. It was a struggle for me in the beginning, identity wise. I was so was more concerned about people accepting who I was and my point of view that I found myself constantly defending who I was and my purpose! That’s not fair to me. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you. We all have a mission here on this earth and I doubt that is to live to please others. I am so blessed to have the customers I do because the trust is real! The love is genuine! AND IF NOTHING ELSE, THEY SEE ME FOR WHO I AM!
