Today we’d like to introduce you to Yvonne Smith.
Yvonne, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I had my first daughter at 13 years old and was married by 15, finished my senior year a year early as a mom and wife. I went on and got a degree as a nurse. I have also worked as a trainer at Bank of America. I have always had an interest in real estate and homes got my license 16 years ago started my brokerage firm 8 years ago and have a heart to take it slow building up each team member to see their success. I have been married to the father of my first daughter for 32 years we have six children and five grandchildren and are just enjoying life taking every day as a gift!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Starting out having a child at 13 years old has definitely made everything a little more interesting and being married at 15 gave additional challenges that most people would not deal with however I have always taken each of these challenges that I have come up against as an adventure one step at a time to see the success that I know is there!
Please tell us about VineLife Realty.
We work with residential, commercial, Farm and Ranch, Land and I personally have worked with thousands of buyers, Sellers and investor because I treat each person as an individual and give them my undivided attention as though they were the only client I have I have gained many referrals to family and friends and still have very successful relationships with my clients. I believe in mentoring each agent and taking them under my wing until they feel strong enough to fly on their own I believe that there’s more than enough business and success for each agent. We give each of our clients a housewarming party as their housewarming gift this makes them feel so special as they are able to show off their new home and their friends and family and allow them to be blessed with gifts for their new home
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have taken more time to study on Commercial Real Estate and Investors right off the bat. I would have learned sooner than later that it’s all about people on that’s the most important thing and giving them the time to feel that they are the most important part of the whole transaction!
