Today we’d like to introduce you to Zach Rainey and Kimberly Rainey Hall.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Zach and Kimberly. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We are a family owned business with deep roots in Denton. Our business philosophy is ensuring you receive the best gourmet snow cone in the North Texas area every time. With hundreds of different ways to make your style snow cone, the options are endless. Cut pickles, gummy bears, sour gummy dots, chamoy, pickle juice, sugar-free, super tart, whip cream, sweet cream, and the famous Zach’s special seasoning to name just a few add-ons to the over 50 snow cone flavors offered. We love our customers and create snow cone delights customized to their taste! The first location was open in 2010 on East McKinney and is the flagship location. We have three locations around Denton and are open March through the end of September:

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Changing our customer’s expectations from the normal chunky ice snow cone with nothing but the sugary taste and introducing them to Zach’s gourmet flavored snow cones.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Zach’s Shaved Ice – what should we know?
A family business with experience in snow cones since 1988, we offer exquisite mouth watering snow cones individualized to make a memorable experience for our customers. Zach’s offers the regular sweet and sour flavors, but also specialty flavors and blends of snow cones not found at most other stands. Our goal is to serve multiple family generations of customers, helping to be part of their fond family memories, gaining their loyalty and so far we are living that dream. Here at Zach’s Shaved Ice, we enjoy working in Denton and creating relationships to understand our customers likes and dislikes to ensure when they walk away they are completely satisfied and know we are happy with our product we delivered.
