We’re looking forward to introducing you to Pranika Duggal. Check out our conversation below.
Good morning Pranika, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am most proud of the confidence I have built in myself. It is not something people see on the surface, but behind every opportunity I go for, every risk I take — there is a lot of internal work that got me there. I used to be so shy I would hide behind my mom when I had to talk to someone. Now, I step forward at every chance I get.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I am a creative who has been dancing, modeling, and competing in pageants since I was just 9 years old. It all began unexpectedly when my mom received a letter inviting me to a renowned pageant—without us ever applying. That one opportunity opened the door to a world of national competitions, stage lights, crowns, and unforgettable moments. Since then, I have been blessed to win major titles and take on exciting modeling and performance opportunities. What makes my journey special is the way it has grown from a surprise start into a lifelong passion. I love watching my dreams unfold—one step, one stage, one spotlight at a time.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Before I ever saw the stage as my future, my mom and grandmother saw it for me. Both lifelong dancers, models, and pageant queens themselves, they recognized the spark the moment that unexpected letter arrived. They knew it was my time to shine—just as they once had. They saw in me a growing confidence, a natural presence, and the potential to carry on and elevate the legacy they had built. Long before I believed in myself, they believed in who I could become—and because of their vision, I found my path.
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
Failure taught me that validation means nothing if it does not start from within. I used to strive to impress others—to meet their expectations, chase applause, prove I was enough. But after falling short, I realized it was never about them. It is about impressing yourself first. The version of you who never thought you would make it this far. The little girl in you who dreamed big but was still unsure. When you focus on making her proud, everything else follows. The success feels more real. The recognition from others feels more rewarding—because it is built on something deeper. Now, I strive to impress myself first, always.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
This is such a good question—especially for anyone in the spotlight. If you’re putting a fake version of yourself out there, you’re not just wearing a mask for the world—you’re wearing it for yourself, your family, your friends, and your followers. For me, the version I show to the public will always be my authentic self. Whether I’m winning or learning, I stay true to who I am. That honesty is what keeps me grounded, motivated, and passionate about what I do.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I have always strived to become who I am passionate, proud, and persistent enough to be—not just who I was told to be. From a young age, I knew that life without passion is empty, and that no title or achievement means anything if it is not rooted in love for what you do. You cannot sustain a role, a dream, or a lifestyle if your heart is not fully in it. Every step I take is fueled by purpose—not pressure. I choose this path every day because it excites me, challenges me, and fulfills me. And to me, that is what it truly means to do what you were born to do.
