Hi 214, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started rapping with the coronavirus. I was just sitting at home on YouTube and beats would come on and I’d just start kinda freestyling to them. Then I decided to go record my first song “23” my boy brought an Engineer to his grandma’s house. Once I recorded that song they came in there and said I had something and told me I should take it seriously so I decided to drop the song on Apple Music and Spotify, and surprisingly started doing well. That’s what made me really think about taking rapping seriously.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some of the struggles I would say would be staying consistent, I just had too much going on at the time to fully focus on that.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Mexican rapper from Oak Cliff, Texas. I’m mostly known for my song “No Sleep” it’s doing good I got more than 28k streams on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. What I’m most proud of is my song “No Sleep” I feel like I really put what I was going through at the time in a song and actually sounded good. What sets me apart from others is that I’m versatile for only rapping for a year. I make music that I like and how I feel at the time. I just put music out for myself, I don’t care about what people think.
