Today we’d like to introduce you to Ale Aguilar.
Hi Ale, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story started very young, I’ve always been passionate about makeup, and anything related to beauty. I’ve become a self-thought makeup artist by watching others do their makeup, in 2018 I was leading a group in church and they needed makeup artists so I volunteer and offered to help, this was my first time doing makeup on people other than myself, after that event I fell in love with the reaction of girls being glammed and feeling beautiful when they saw themselves in a mirror I knew this was something I always wanted to do, so I began to do it on family and friend and people started recommending me. Then I began building a clientele and friendships with my clients, I love being a part of clients most important/memorable dates and nowadays I aspire to turn my passion for makeup into a full-time career and reach goals I only dreamed of, also to continue helping woman feeling good about themselves, I continue to volunteer as a makeup artist in my church.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As a raising makeup artist, it has been difficult finding the right connections, nonetheless, the passion and motivation has always been there, and I continue to make progress one day at a time and always looking for opportunities to grow. Reflecting where I started and where I am now, I’m so proud of my work.

I am a Free Lance Makeup and I specialize in Soft Glam and making woman feel good thru makeup. What I am proud of? First my family and at a professional level I’m proud at doing amazing makeup looks for ladies from 80 years old to 14-year-old girls. I think what sets me apart is that I can connect with my customers and be a good listener to their life stories.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
Never give up on my dreams, work ethics go a long way. Always be willing to learn and grow.
