Today we’d like to introduce you to Anubhi Jadhav.
Hi Anubhi, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Dallas Desi Scoop was born from a simple idea—to create one place where the South Asian community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area could easily discover everything happening around them. As someone who has always loved connecting with people, exploring local businesses, restaurants, cultural events, and community initiatives, I realized there wasn’t a single platform bringing it all together.
What started as a passion project on social media has grown into a trusted community platform followed by thousands of people looking for the latest events, hidden food gems, local businesses, and inspiring stories. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with entrepreneurs, nonprofits, artists, and community leaders, helping shine a spotlight on their work and connect them with a wider audience.
For me, Dallas Desi Scoop has never been just about food or promotions—it’s about building community. My mission is to support local businesses, celebrate our culture, encourage meaningful connections, and help people feel more connected to the vibrant South Asian community we have here in DFW.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Since Dallas Desi Scoop is still in its early stages, one of the biggest challenges has been building awareness and earning the community’s trust. Growing an audience, reaching the right people, and consistently creating valuable content takes time, patience, and persistence.
Another challenge has been balancing this passion project with my full-time career and family responsibilities. There are many hours behind the scenes.
Despite these challenges, the positive feedback from local businesses and community members has been incredibly motivating. Every message from someone who discovered a new business, attended an event because of our platform, or found value in what we shared reminds me why I started. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to continue growing alongside the community we serve.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Professionally, I work as an Integrations Architect/IT Tech Lead, where I lead technology initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and build efficient integration solutions. My career in technology has strengthened my skills in leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my contributions, and those experiences have inspired me to continually learn, innovate, and make a meaningful impact—both professionally and within my community.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are many ways to work with and support Dallas Desi Scoop. We welcome collaborations with local businesses, restaurants, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, artists, and event organizers who want to reach and engage the South Asian community in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Whether it’s promoting an event, showcasing a business, sharing a community initiative, or partnering on campaigns, we’re always excited to build meaningful relationships.
Community members can also support us by following our platforms, sharing our content, recommending local stories, and helping us spread the word. Our mission is to grow together as a community, and every collaboration helps us create a stronger platform that benefits everyone.
