Rising Stars: Meet Ashtin Jones Stevenson of Dallas-Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashtin Jones Stevenson.

Hi Ashtin jones , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began as a single mother working as a dancer at Onyx, determined to create a better future for myself and my family. Wanting more out of life, I took a leap of faith and moved out of my parents’ home into my husband’s cousin’s living room. It wasn’t where I wanted to stay—it was simply where my new beginning started.

Life changed when I met my now-husband and my late sister-in-law, (Dishaye Stevenson) who we lost to domestic violence (her story touched the world and the news of you care to look into it )who introduced me to the tax industry and to Quetta. What began as an opportunity quickly became a passion. Through social media, networking, and interview opportunities, I was able to grow my platform, build meaningful relationships, and steadily establish myself in the tax business.

With consistency, resilience, and faith, I worked my way up from humble beginnings to managing a tax office in Oak Cliff. Along the way, my husband and I achieved another milestone by purchasing our first home together.

As we continue building our future, and keeping God first , we’re preparing for our wedding next year while expanding our journey in the tax industry and working toward creating a lasting legacy together.

My story is a reminder that your circumstances don’t define your future. Where you begin is not where you have to stay. With faith, hard work, and perseverance, it’s possible to create the life you’ve always dreamed of.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey wasn’t without obstacles. I fought through a difficult custody battle involving the father of my first two children, and today I have custody of all three of my children.

I endured criticism and judgment from people simply because I chose to love the man who is now my husband. While others doubted our relationship, we continued building our future together.

I experienced betrayal, including having money stolen from me during some of the hardest seasons of my life. There were times when I paid for hotel rooms just so I would have a safe place to sleep—or simply so I could spend time with my now-husband, Roper, while we worked toward a better future.

There were countless sleepless nights, long days, and even physical altercations while working at the club. Through every setback, I refused to give up. Every challenge strengthened my resilience and reminded me why I had to keep pushing forward—for myself, my children, and the life I knew we deserved.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a tax professional with five years of experience, specializing in tax preparation, accounting, and helping clients maximize the credits and deductions they may not realize they qualify for. I also assist clients in securing loan approvals and take pride in helping improve their financial situations—often with something as simple as the right knowledge and the right guidance.

Beyond my work in the tax industry, many people recognize me through the content my husband and I create on social media. Together, we’ve built a platform that reaches supporters and followers both in our home state and across the country.

Above all, I am most grateful for God’s blessings over my life and my family. Every step of my journey has strengthened my faith and reminded me that transformation is possible. Looking back, my life feels like the story of a butterfly—growing through difficult seasons before emerging into something beautiful. If sharing my story inspires even one person to believe in themselves and keep going, then every challenge I faced was worth it.

What matters most to you?
center of my life, remaining faithful through every season, and being the best mother and wife I can be for my family. At the same time, I believe it’s important to continue growing as an individual and never lose sight of who I am. By balancing faith, family, and personal growth, I strive to build a life that reflects love, purpose, and resilience.
