Rising Stars: Meet Atiya Ma’Sha of Dallas, Tx

Today we’d like to introduce you to Atiya Ma’Sha.

Hi Atiya, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey really started at 12 watching makeup gurus on YouTube and falling in love with beauty. The older I got, the deeper that love grew into doing makeup, stepping into acting, and finding creative ways to express myself.

At the same time, I built a 9–5 career that taught me discipline and consistency, so for a while I was balancing both worlds and figuring it out as I went.

Everything shifted after I experienced a late miscarriage. That season forced me to slow down, lean into my faith, and rediscover who I was. I didn’t just want to show up online looking good, I wanted to be real about healing, growth, and becoming.

Now, I create content that blends beauty, faith, and motivation. Whether I’m doing my makeup or sharing my journey, it’s all rooted in becoming “her” again, and showing other women they can do the same, even while balancing real life.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road…like at all.

Balancing a 9–5 while trying to show up as a content creator, makeup artist, and actress? Yeah… it’s a lot . There were plenty of days I was tired, over it, and still had to hit “record” anyway.

I’ve also dealt with self doubt and comparison (social media will humble you real quick), but the hardest season for me was experiencing the loss of my son. That completely shifted my life and forced me to slow down and heal in a real way.

But honestly, every challenge taught me how to keep going, even when I don’t feel like it. And some days, showing up looks cute… and other days it’s just, “okay God, we’re trying again tomorrow.”

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a beauty content creator, makeup artist, and actress, and I specialize in soft glam looks, real life beauty routines, and content that blends faith, healing, and self-growth. My platform isn’t just about looking good, it’s about becoming whole again.

I’m known for creating content that feels real and relatable. Whether I’m doing my makeup, getting ready for the gym, or just talking through life, people connect to the honesty behind it. I show up as I am…still healing, still growing, still figuring it out.

What I’m most proud of is having the courage to share my journey, especially after experiencing loss. Turning my pain into purpose and creating a space where other women feel seen, safe, and understood means everything to me.

What sets me apart is that I don’t separate beauty from real life. You’re not just getting a finished look, you’re getting the process, the emotions, the faith, and the growth behind it. It’s beauty, but it’s also becoming.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is becoming the woman God is calling me to be…fully, authentically, and not holding back.

After everything I’ve been through, I move differently now. My peace, my healing, and my relationship with God come first… everything else comes after that.

It matters to me because I know what it feels like to lose yourself. I also know how powerful it is to find your way back. So the way I live, the way I create, and the way I show up is very intentional. If I can inspire even one woman to keep going, to choose herself, and to trust God through it all…that means everything to me.
