Rising Stars: Meet Bianca Heintz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Heintz.

Hi Bianca, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started photographing cars 5 years ago. I was at a car meet and took a photo of a Porsche 918 (at the time I had no clue what car it was, I was just getting into it). I put the photo on Instagram and eventually, it became a regular thing. I started taking pictures at meets and shows, over time I learned rules of composition and developed a unique style. I moved on to photographing individual cars at fun locations, such as the beach or in the mountains. Over the years I was given many incredible opportunities to work with very special cars. A few of the most notable cars I have worked with are a McLaren Speedtail, a Lykan Hypersport, and upwards of 20 different Paganis, (I grew up in SoCal, they’re everywhere out there), and an Aston Martin Vulcan. I love what I do, creating art is my passion and I am so lucky to have found my calling.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, being a woman in a male-dominated field I’m going to run into some problems. Varying from online harassment to people perceiving me as less professional than my male counterparts. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. But I stand my ground and I know that my work is special and I can and will succeed in this field. And I hope every other woman in this field can do the same.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in commercial and creative automotive photography. I am proud of the work I produce and I am proud of my accomplishments in this field. I have been published in DuPont Registry, and brands including Porsche, W Motors, Nissan, and Mclaren have recognized my work. My simple editing style and composition set me apart from other photographers. I have spent years developing a specific style to set myself apart from others.
