Hi BLK, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
BLK ROSE Is a multi-genre band based in DFW we officially got started in 2025 and since then we have grown into not only a band but a community. With this community mindset we have brought electric experiences to wherever we are. To Blk Rose music can heal the world in so many different aspects. We are thankful to be growing at a rate that is helping us to build the community of positive bands,musicians,poets and etc. we have built a platform for those who are scared of being judged and instead have a place to grow in their craft, Blk rose is blooming through the cracks and making them whole again
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road at all especially at first with getting booked,choosing the right music and etc.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the band manager/lead singer of Blk Rose band we specialize in bringing upbeat vibes to any occasion. From r&b to rock and roll. We are most proud of the fact we can take a cover song and completely make it our own. What sets us apart is although we are mostly a cover band you would think that the music was ours
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
First credit goes to our creator because with him all things are possible. The businesses that gave us a shot. West Jax,CeeZoos, the peoples last stand, artistry soul collective. These businesses played a major role in helping us thrive even till this day. Also the bandmates and our fan base the rose petals:
