Hi Brittany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always had a passion for Makeup. My journey started when I graduated school in 2013. I began modeling and started working at NYX Professional Makeup inside of Stonebriar Mall. I became the top salesperson with thin 3 months of me working for the company even with being self-taught. Once the company closed down late 2015, I began my Freelance journey immediately after. Being featured in Music Videos ft. Beat King, Low Deezie, MGK, Boosie, etc. I knew I wanted to become more involved in the Making of the video by making the girls feel beautiful on set! I do still model here and there but Makeup is my True passion, and I love making people feel beautiful!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I learned very early in my modeling career to seed out the industry clout chasers from the people who actually believe in my work and want to really work with me.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Professional Makeup up Artist and Model. I specialize in Full Glam and Photo ready makeup. I have 6 years experience of Professional Makeup and 8 years Professional modeling. I’m most proud of how far I’ve came in my career because I started off as a video vixen then realized that I wanted to pursue my ultimate goal in making the women, I’m Around feeling more empowered and beautiful! I knew then that I found my craft.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always in my own Fairytale world. Ever since I was young, I loved playing in makeup designing doll clothes and just being the it-girl tomboy was my thing. I was the girl outside in the princess dress playing in the dirt. I’ve always love beauty and fashion so this being my calling is no surprise.
