Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Dean.
Hi Bryce, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I really had a rough start, especially after losing my mother at the age of 18, but I was determined to make it anyway. I was actually homeless 4 times during my adulthood slept in the back of the barbershop I worked at and when I finally got a car I slept there. I was fortunate enough to have kids although we lost their mother in 2009 .so I’ve been a single father just trying to figure it out and maintain a clear focused mind. I’m also a personal trainer now, I’ve owned a salon, I’m a photographer, I own two clothing lines. I’m just not taking no for an answer.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. I’ve been homeless. My mother died. My kids mother died. My lil sister died. I moved to Dallas from Memphis and my relationship failed that was really rough
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Full-time I’m a master barber!!! I’m also a personal trainer / a photographer/ a singer / I have 2 clothing lines amongst a few other things. I am known for singing and cutting hair mostly
I’m most proud of being able to fall and get back up as many times as I have
What’s sets me apart is my ability to smile even when things are crumbling. I also love to give back to the less fortunate and people in need
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I refuse to quit!!! No matter what that looks like for me
