Rising Stars: Meet Courtney Jaeckle of Royse City, TX

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Jaeckle.

Hi Courtney, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
New Vine Counseling, PLLC provides faith-based, holistic mental health care for individuals, couples, and families. Rooted in Christian values, our practice takes an out-of-the-box approach to counseling—going beyond surface-level symptoms to care for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. We believe true healing happens when clinical excellence is integrated with compassion, creativity, and God’s truth and grace.

Founded in 2020 by Courtney Jaeckle, New Vine Counseling began as a telehealth practice with a vision to make meaningful, faith-informed care accessible to those seeking support. Since then, the practice has grown into a multidisciplinary team and now operates from our ranch in Royse City, offering both in-person and virtual services.

Our team includes five licensed clinicians, one Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and an equine specialist. We offer a wide range of services, including individual, couples, and family counseling; EMDR and Equine EMDR; animal-assisted therapy; medication management; and comprehensive autism and ADHD evaluations for both children and adults.

Whether clients are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, spiritual burnout, neurodiversity, or major life transitions, we walk alongside them with intentional, clinically informed care. At New Vine Counseling, healing doesn’t mean becoming someone else—it means becoming more fully yourself, firmly rooted in growth, restoration, and hope.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This journey has not been without challenges. Shortly after launching the practice, my father was diagnosed with a terminal illness, and my family moved in with my parents to help care for him. For three years, we walked the sacred and difficult road of caregiving until he went home to be with Jesus. Following that season of loss and transition, we relocated to the ranch—a place that now reflects both healing and renewal for our family and for the work God continues to grow through New Vine Counseling.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At New Vine Counseling, you are never just a client number. Our team is deeply committed to knowing you as an individual—your story, your strengths, and what truly matters to you. We believe meaningful healing happens in relationship, not in a one-size-fits-all model.

We take an out-of-the-box approach to care, using creative, experiential, and evidence-based methods that help therapy feel less clinical and more connected. Whether that means incorporating faith, movement, nature, animals, or innovative trauma modalities, we meet you where you are and walk alongside you in a way that feels authentic and engaging.

Our goal is for therapy to feel less like “being in therapy” and more like being supported, understood, and gently guided toward growth and wholeness.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next five years, we plan to expand our space and grow our team by adding additional clinicians and medical providers. This growth will allow us to continue serving more individuals and families while maintaining the personalized, high-quality care that defines New Vine Counseling. Our vision is to expand thoughtfully—ensuring that as we grow, every person who walks through our doors continues to feel known, supported, and valued.
