Today we’d like to introduce you to Crispin Valentin
Hi CRISPIN, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Mexico and lived there until I was 11 years old, when I crossed the border. Eventually, I became a legal resident and graduated from school early. I then joined the U.S. Army, where I served for 3 1/2 years, including a year-long deployment to Iraq. Afterward, I attended college but decided to pursue other opportunities in the workforce. Throughout my journey, I explored different occupations, hosted an internet radio show for 3 years, and volunteer at KNON 89.3 FM, a well-known community radio station, for a year.
Now, I’m the creator and host of The Global Latin Factor Podcast, a groundbreaking platform that shines a spotlight on Latinos from all walks of life, highlighting their contributions to culture on a global scale. If you ask anyone about “The Global Latin Factor,” they’ll tell you it’s about recognizing the undeniable footprint Latinos have left on the world, in every aspect of life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This journey has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding, offering countless opportunities to grow and gain a wealth of knowledge. Being entirely self-taught and self-funded has made the journey challenging, but every step has been worth it. The growth and lessons learned along the way have been invaluable.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My best childhood memory is growing up in Mexico, where life was simple yet incredibly fulfilling. I loved spending time with my cousins and grandma, enjoying the small moments and the close-knit family connections. Those days were full of joy, and the simplicity of life made everything feel so special.
