Rising Stars: Meet Eduardo Camargo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eduardo Camargo.

Hi Eduardo, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My wife and I started the business during the start of COVID and were primarily made for friends and family. After some good feedback, we were encouraged to start selling them online. We didn’t expect to get as many orders as we did starting off. That was really encouraging to continue and to expand our product line. Starting off, we were primarily doing online orders but in the start of 2022, we tried our luck with local markets and pop-up events. We have had great success with those, especially meeting our customers and also other local vendors and small business owners.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like with any other business starting out, we have had runs of great months of selling our candy as well as months with hardly any orders. We’ve never let that stop us from continuing to try and grow our business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I currently work at an insurance company. I’m a quick learner and can adapt to changes pretty easily.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing I was really shy and that stopped me from getting out of my comfort zone. I’ve slowly but surely grew out of that. My interests have been and are still sports and gaming.
