Today we’d like to introduce you to Eeman Chowdhury.
Eeman, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Growing up, I always enjoyed expressing myself through art and writing. But I never truly knew what I wanted to pursue as a career until I discovered marketing. I already had a degree in biology, but I’m also a very creative person. Marketing as a profession really stood out to me since it combines both creative skills and analytical skills. So after graduating college, I spent a lot of time strengthening my skills in graphic design, copywriting, data analysis, and educating myself as much as possible about the marketing industry. I successfully took on several different roles in social media marketing and I’m now continuing to expand my brand as a marketer while completing my MBA.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve been blessed in many ways but there were certainly challenges too. Before I had experience or education in marketing, it was difficult just to get my foot in the door. And once I did, I still had to teach myself most of what I know. But I’m grateful for the journey and I can say I’ve grown and achieved so much since I first started.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in social media marketing and communications, with a focus on public health and social justice. I’ve created and managed content for several healthcare organizations. What sets me apart is my ability to combine a strong eye for design with impactful writing. I strive to create content that not only captures attention but also leaves a lasting impression and resonates with its intended audience.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I’m lucky enough to have access to resources that not everyone has, such as a good education and financial support. But I truly believe that there is no substitute for hard work. Luck will always be a factor and success will come and go, so I like to focus on the things that I can control.
