Today we’d like to introduce you to Grace Moreno.
Hi Grace, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I took up a photography class at TJC community college back in 2013. I grew my interest in college and chose mass
Communication or media as my bachelors.first job out of college was shooting for a local magazine. I opened up my own event photograph business soon after that and have been doing so for 11 years!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There’s alot of self sabotage when you have a creative career. You don’t feel like you are good at
Your craft since so many others do it so well. You have to get training but also learn to appreciate and feel proud of your own work.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a corporate event photographer and also do family portraits. I think I’ve learned how
To shoot
Events in a way that make you feel you were there and gather the energy and emotion of the people well.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
First the TYLER TODAY magazine for helping me launch my personal business. Kaitlin James online
