Hi Jae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. First, let me just say I did not wake up like this…LOL.
I opened my business, J. Nicole Solutions, back in 2017, providing graphic design and social media management services. Despite the excitement of being my own boss, the first two years were tough. I worked with anyone willing to pay without clearly understanding my target audience or what made my business unique. As I worked with entrepreneurs on their social media, I discovered that many needed a purpose beyond increasing their followers. I had deep conversations with my clients about their identities and motivations, but this took me outside my scope of work and left me feeling unfulfilled and underpaid.
At the end of 2019, I felt burnt out and shut down her business with no desire to return. I deleted my website and social profiles and struggled with the decision for an entire year. Despite this, I unofficially offered my services to a few loyal clients, who constantly asked me when I would “make J. Nicole Solutions great again”?
Finally, in late 2020, I felt a calling from God, “Why are you not charging for this? I mean, this is basically the business you just walked away from! Do what I’m asking you to do!” So, in December 2020, I waived the white flag of surrender, and in January 2021, I relaunched my business into the marketplace. I emerged as The Dopest Brand Coach this time and have seen nothing but success.
I’ve secured speaking opportunities, been featured in magazines, and landed various podcast interviews and panel discussions. I finally started walking in my purpose for real, for real and doing what I loved, all while serving my unique target audience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting a business is hard work, and there were struggles along the way; however, I wouldn’t change anything about my journey.
There were many moments when I felt like giving up, but I had to push through those feelings and remind myself that I was capable and worthy of success. It was overwhelming at times, but I took things one step at a time and sought help and advice from mentors and other business owners. It was essential to stay focused on my goals and keep moving forward, even when it felt like I was going at a snail’s pace.

As THEE Dopest Brand Coach, I empower ambitious female entrepreneurs to confidently embrace their purpose, enhance their brand’s reputation, and live unapologetically dope. In addition, I provide my clients with the brand and social media tools and resources they need to thrive in the competitive marketplace.
I’m most proud of the transformation I’ve facilitated in my clients’ lives. Seeing them go from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to standing tall and confidently owning their power fuels me to keep pushing forward.
What sets me apart from other coaches is my unique approach to branding. I understand that every entrepreneur has a unique story, style, and voice. Therefore, I tailor my coaching and resources to meet each client’s specific needs and goals.
At the core of my coaching approach is the belief that one’s identity in Christ and His purpose are the key ingredients to unlocking their full potential as an entrepreneur. By helping my clients discover their God-given identity and aligning their business goals with their purpose, I can help them create a brand that not only stands out in the market but also positively impacts the world.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is living a purposeful life in alignment with God’s will. It’s not enough to simply exist or go through the motions; each of us has a unique calling and mission that we are meant to fulfill.
What drives me is the desire to positively impact the world and inspire others to do the same. I want to be a beacon of hope and encouragement for those struggling and help them see that victory is always possible through Christ Jesus.
Through my work as a brand coach, I aim to empower and uplift ambitious female entrepreneurs to confidently pursue their passions and unlock their full potential. I believe that by helping others to succeed, I am fulfilling my own purpose and contributing to a better, more fulfilling world.
