Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Henry.
Hi Jeremiah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I did my first ever shoot in 2015, I was attending school at PVAMU, for a party, we were hosting on campus. The popularity of the shoot gave me a nice wave of support who believed I should take modeling more seriously. Fast forward to 2019 I began shooting with a lot of different random people for exposure & to build my portfolio. Then Covid-19 hit & of course everything was shut down for 2 years. On January 1 of 2021, I took a chance on myself and sent out my portfolio to agencies in Dallas, New York, and LA. 6 months later I was signed to Wallflower mgmt. In Dallas Tx. Now I have only been signed officially for about 11 months but they have been keeping me busy & booked!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely not been as smooth as I planned. Along with pursuing my modeling career, I’m also a full-time traveling electrician. Scheduling can overlap at times but it’s never a bad idea to pick your passion over your 9-5. It has definitely been better since
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
As a multifaceted young man, I fill my days creating memories with family and friends. Dedicated to hooping sessions & working out at the gym while always finding new places to explore with my friends. Taking my puppy on adventure walks with my camera is always a vibe I make time for. And watching countless runway shows on YouTube.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
As a child growing up in New Orleans, Mardi Gras was the most magical time of year. A week off from school to see the parades and party with family. No matter how busy my dad was he always made sure we caught as many beads as possible and ate tons of King cake.
