Rising Stars: Meet Jessica Bott of McKinney

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Bott.

Jessica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Dynamic Intuition was born out of a lifelong love for art, creativity, and the unseen magic that runs through everyday life. My story really began in 2007, when my dad made me a sculpture called “A Woman’s Intuition.” That piece became the seed for everything that followed it reminded both of us how powerful it is to trust your inner voice. When I decided to start my company, I named it Dynamic Intuition because I wanted it to evolve right along with me. It could be anything my heart desired truly dynamic.

At the time, I was deep in my own spiritual awakening and had just discovered tarot, oracle cards, and other intuitive practices. Those tools helped me connect with myself in a new way and navigate life’s ups and downs with more clarity. I started making jewelry cuff bracelets that carried affirmations and meaning and when my friends saw them, they told me I had to start a website. That little nudge turned my creative outlet into what eventually became Dynamic Intuition.

From the start, it’s been a place where all my creative curiosities can live together. I design jewelry, clothing, art, home décor basically, anything that lights me up and that I think might bring someone else joy. As a neurodivergent creator, I’ve learned to see my many interests not as distractions, but as sparks of inspiration. Each product begins as a personal obsession and grows into something meant to inspire others to explore their own intuition and creativity.

Music has also played a huge part in shaping the brand. In 2009, I experienced one of those life-changing “a-ha” moments at a Phish concert. Surrounded by music, movement, and connection, I felt this deep sense of belonging like I’d found my soul family. That same energy of freedom and joy runs through everything I make.

Today, Dynamic Intuition is a conscious lifestyle brand offering handcrafted jewelry, art, apparel, and spiritual tools all created to help people ignite their intuition and live a life of magic and joy. What started as a personal passion has grown into a community of people who believe in finding beauty, meaning, and magic in the everyday.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
t’s been less of a straight road and more of an unfolding journey. Dynamic Intuition has always been a collection of passion projects things I created simply because I loved making them. There was never pressure or a grand business plan in the beginning. I followed what felt exciting and meaningful, and over time it naturally grew into something bigger.

It’s been a grassroots process, one step at a time. I’ve learned to trust the pace of organic growth to let the business evolve as I do. There were seasons where I didn’t create much at all, and others where inspiration poured out of me nonstop. Through it all, I’ve learned that consistency doesn’t have to mean rigidity. For me, it’s about staying connected to what feels alive and letting the work grow from that place.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Dynamic Intuition is where art, mindfulness, and magic meet. I create handcrafted jewelry, art, apparel, and conscious lifestyle goods that encourage people to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with their intuition. Everything I make starts with a feeling a spark of curiosity or inspiration and evolves into something that carries meaning.

I’m known for combining creativity and consciousness. My designs often include intuitive messages, symbolic elements, or lyrical references that remind people of their own inner wisdom. From affirmation cuff bracelets to embroidered hoodies, each piece carries energy it’s wearable art meant to uplift and inspire.

I’m most proud of my first book, The ABC’s of Consciousness: A Journey into Mindfulness for All Ages. It’s both a children’s book and an oracle for anyone on a path of self-awareness. I wrote and illustrated it as a gift for my daughter, and it’s become a cornerstone of my brand a reminder that mindfulness and magic can belong in everyday life.

What sets me apart is that I don’t follow a single lane. Dynamic Intuition is built around creative freedom it’s a home for all of my passions. Whether I’m designing jewelry, writing, or painting, everything comes from the same place: the desire to help people see the beauty and meaning in their own lives.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
So many people and energies have played a role in shaping Dynamic Intuition. Inspiration has always come from unexpected places. The band Phish has been a huge creative influence their music reminds me to stay curious, playful, and open to improvisation, both in art and in life. Their community also taught me the value of connection and belonging, which are at the heart of everything I create.

My friends and family have been my greatest cheerleaders from the beginning. They were the first to believe in my work and the ones who encouraged me to launch my website all those years ago. Their support has helped me keep going through creative dry spells and moments of doubt.

And honestly, I give a lot of credit to the universe herself that quiet, guiding force that nudges me toward new ideas and opportunities when I least expect it. Dynamic Intuition has always felt like a collaboration between me and something much bigger a co-creation with life itself.
