Today we’d like to introduce you to Jojo And Wo Daniels.

Hi Jojo and Wo, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
JoJo x Wo: The Rise of a Dynamic Duo

Born in Houston, Texas, and self-taught in singing, piano, guitar, and drums, JoJo and Wo discovered their passion for music at the age of five. Armed with a deep-rooted belief that all it takes is one “Yes,” they embarked on a journey of faith and determination, taking a one-way ticket to California to chase their dreams. Their talent quickly caught the eyes of the nation, leading them to appear on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” and “Clash of the Choirs,” where they performed alongside Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child.

Their charisma and talent opened doors to the big screen with roles in “Just Dance” and “The American Dream” featuring Mike Jones. Their electrifying performances have taken them across the globe—from Singapore to Dubai to Europe—where they had the honor of opening for music icons like Alicia Keys and The Pussycat Dolls. Following their impressive run as finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” JoJo and Wo were signed to Pulse Recordings as songwriters.

The twins have since made their mark in the industry, scoring music placements on popular shows like “The Basketball Wives of Atlanta,” VH1’s “Love and Hip Hop,” “Bye Felicia,” and even the Cartoon Network in Denmark. Collaborating with hit-makers like GoonRock, they co-wrote “RUN” for LMFAO and Flo Rida, further solidifying their status in the music scene. Their single “Get on the Floor” became a sensation in Denmark, charting at the top and leading to a massive performance in front of 20,000 fans.

With a repertoire of over 70 songs written and recorded, JoJo and Wo continue to push creative boundaries. Currently, they are working on their own highly anticipated projects. Get ready for their latest single, “WANTED” as JoJo x Wo redefine what it means to be unstoppable.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Before we flew to LA chasing our dreams, we only had a one-way ticket and $50 between us. At that time, we were living in a small hotel room with our mom and little brother, trying to make it through each day. That was one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

Our family was struggling financially, and it often felt like there was no way out of what we were going through. We were scared, uncertain, and just holding on to faith that something better was coming. But looking back, that struggle built our strength. It taught us resilience, reminded us of why we started, and gave us the determination to never give up—no matter how hard it gets. That season shaped who we are today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are country singer-songwriters and performers, specializing in crafting songs that blend heartfelt storytelling with contemporary, cinematic production. Known as Jojo and Wo, we are recognized for our tight harmonies, dynamic stage presence, and versatility as both writers and performers.

We’re most proud of the music we’ve written and placed internationally, including chart-topping tracks in Denmark, as well as our appearances on national television shows like America’s Got Talent and Clash of the Choirs.

What sets us apart is our ability to combine authentic country storytelling with a polished, modern sound, while being hands-on in every part of the creative process — from writing to production to performance. We bring both passion and precision to everything we do, reflecting our unique perspective as Houston-born twin artists carving our own lane in the industry.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to us is God, our family, and our friends—the people who have been with us through every season of life. Our faith keeps us grounded, and the love from our family and friends reminds us where we come from and who we truly are.

Whether we’re working a regular job or performing on a big stage, they love and support us the same way. Their prayers, encouragement, and belief in us keep us going, especially when the road gets tough. Without that foundation—without God and the people who genuinely care for us—none of this would mean the same. They are our anchor, our peace, and our biggest motivation to keep shining.
