Today we’d like to introduce you to Josiah Caleb.
Hi Josiah, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I always had a passion for cooking. I started cooking for different restaurants when I was in High School, and when I got to college, I had a job as a cook making pasta. When I graduated college, I was at the heaviest I’ve ever been and I had to do something to change that! Cooking was what I did! I started cooking healthy for myself and lost a lot of weight. People wanted to know if I could cook healthy meals for them also which started my meal prep business. From Meal prep I went to having a desire to cook for couples as a date night and that turned me doing private chef events and that turned into catering parties and businesses! I love what I do and never thought that this is what I would be doing
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Well with me what seemed to be a struggle actually became very beneficial for me! Once covid hit no one really wanted to go to restaurants and eat out, which made what I do even more of a demand. Yes, it’s hard at times but God has always helped me to see a better way out of whatever issues!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a personal chef, singer, and songwriter! My passion is to sing and also cook! I’m most proud of the accomplishments that I have accomplished in such a short time in the cooking business! I specialize in Seafood, Cajun Dishes!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’m a very happy-spirited person, I grew up in a low-income neighborhood but I always made the best of it! I always kept my friends laughing, either I was joking or just creating a good time! I loved to play sports as a kid, you always would find me at the basketball court! When it comes to Music and cooking that has made my life complete!
