Today we’d like to introduce you to JWash.
Hi JWash, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started playing football my whole life that was all I knew , I always loved music but as a fan the older I got the more it grew on me. I enjoyed the process of making music so in 2020 I got my own home set up and started making my own although I was still playing football I still made music as a hobby in my free time. I stopped playing football and started teaching and coaching at high schools in the area which was great but something always weighed on me with the music and a feeling that I only got playing football which drove me to essentially leaving that career and starting music and haven’t looked back since.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some struggles I face is just finding the time to get everything done being a full time dad recently working and getting things done makes it difficult just sometimes not having a lot of time. Also not knowing things being so new into the industry makes a few things more difficult.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I make music. What separates me from others is being so versatile I can make music on a wide range of beats and make a song. It doesn’t take long for me to finish a song I can usually start from scratch and finish a song within an hour on my home set up and in the studio I can record the vocals in about 5-10 minutes.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was always a bit shy and quiet. I always could fit in with a lot of different crowds the older I got I was more outgoing. My whole life involved sports I played just about every sport you could
