Rising Stars: Meet Lee Allen of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lee Allen.

Lee Allen

Hi Lee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve been in love with music and being an entertainer since I was a child. Me and my friends would make beats by banging on a trash can and would take turns freestyle rapping to the beat. I spent my early childhood growing up in Oak Cliff, my mom moved us to the suburbs of Cedar Hill when I began middle school to try and provide a better upbringing for me and my older brother. When I was in middle school me and a few friends formed a rap group called ODT which stood for “Only Da Throwedest”. One of the members of the group by the name of “Rainwater”, went on to find celebrity status after discovering and managing the recently deceased Dallas recording artist Mo3. I attended highschool at Cedar Hill High, Trinity Christian (Cedar Hill), and Arlington Seguin. In high school me and an old friend who then went by Tony Montana formed a new rap group called the “214 Militia” or as we became known “The Militia Money Gang”. We had a few nationally recognized radio hits, (Hit The Bobby & Big Booty Judy) toured the south, and had an appearance on MTV3. After the buzz died down from the national/radio success I then went solo under the stage name of “Master Bruce The Lord of The Ology”. At this time I created the “Ologized” movement, which was birthed by the “Based” movement created in California by fellow recording artist “Lil B The Based God”. For those who aren’t familiar being based just means being free from care of judgement and stereotypes, it gave me an alternate avenue outside of just being a thug and doing gangster activities that could ruin my life. To be Ologized is to have your 3rd eye open and see thru the veil that has been placed before us, it’s the ultimate understanding of it all. When you understand what the common person cannot comprehend, you are Ologized. I released my first solo album “One Way Trip” last year and will be following up with my 2nd album “The Ologized One”, under my new stage name of ILoveMasterBruce. I changed my name after discovering BatMan also goes by the name of Master Bruce which caused difficulties when searching for name on site a like Google and YouTube. Now days I still love music but have also been branching out into modeling and acting as well. I hope to some day change the music scene of Dallas to a brighter, more positive light on the city known primarily for the success of gangster rap, (outside of Post Malone.) Speaking of Post, it would be a dream come true to collaborate with him some day, and it would do wonders for the unity of the city. I guess only time will tell.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Well I’m human so obstacles are to be expected. I went thru some heartbreak, lost a few loved ones, and had people who I thought were my friends turn their back on me. But that’s what you sign up for when you are trying to do something extraordinary. The difference from the failures and success is never giving up, so here I am still climbing the mountain one step at a time. There is beauty in the struggle, in a twisted way I would say that I love to struggle because it helps to fuel the fire that keeps me going. Which has caused me to have an un-dieing thirst in my heart to make my dreams come true.. the pain and naysayers are what keep me going even when I feel hopeless.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m an entertainer.. A recording artist first, then model/actor second. I just love the entertainment industry so I’m always active doing one or the other. I would say I’m most known for my radio hit “Big Booty Judy” and for being the Internet personality “Master Bruce The Lord of The Ology”, where I gained my cult following, back in the early 2010’s. Nowadays I shy from the spotlight and live a more low-key life while still making new music and music videos to continue to build my catalog. If I showed you a few of my songs/videos that would show what makes me different. I don’t try to do “what’s cool” or what I think people will like, I just do what I like. I feel that is something that has been lost in today’s entertainment industry, too many clones and copycats not enough originality. Everyone’s scared to be different, that’s where I come in. Those who have followed me during the span of my career know I have been this way since the beginning.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Some good books that have helped me along the way are “The Secret Law of Attraction”, “The 48 Laws of Power”, “The Kybalion”, and I’m sure there are others that unfortunately don’t come to mind right now. I love learning new things, so sometimes I will play different audiobooks on YouTube as I fall asleep at night. Or some nights I will just play rain sounds on a dark screen, (I love the rain, it’s my favorite type of weather).
