Today we’d like to introduce you to Lee Leprechaun.
Lee, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I decided to get into music after seeing some of my favorite artist perform. Watching them fueled my passion. It excites me, and I fell in love with keeping people entertained on the dance floor. Over time, I picked up a lot of tips and techniques from fellow artists. As time passed, a lot of people I knew had to stop their music career for one reason or another, so I made sure to keep at it. I’ve accomplished a lot in the last few years, but I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be. I hope to be on festival lineups all over the world one day, entertaining the largest crowds and creating a positive experience for a lot of people.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s never a smooth road for any artist; I don’t think. I’ve had my ups and downs. I’ve thought about giving up numerus times, but I’m extremally happy and grateful for all the support and love that has kept me going. I’ve had moments where I’ve been just sitting in the studio looking blankly at all the equipment and just feeling overwhelmed. It’s okay to take a step back and breath. Find what really connects you to the music and stick with it.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I try to do almost everything myself, and its definitely overwhelming sometimes. I try to produce the music, design the cover art and even come up with all the promo material. This isn’t the case for all my work now. I’ve had lots of support from labels and fellow creatives. I’m really proud of my ability to come up with ideas quickly and be able to execute just as fast. Once I have an idea rolling, I kind of obsess tell it’s completed.
