Today we’d like to introduce you to Londen Kailie.
Hi Londen, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Honestly, I was born in the entertainment business through my father. Coming from a family filled with singers and musicians. I learned how to conduct myself in all aspects of the entertainment field. Also in school I took speech, debate, theatre arts, business administration, computer networking and programming. Yes I was a nerd my weekends were spent at the library. All of this helped me to own my on business as well as produce businesses for others.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I would be lying if I said it was 100% smooth. There is always what I call three strikes against you, being a woman, attractive and intelligent. The disrespect can come from men and women depending upon how they perceive you. You can have missed opportunities, confrontations, not being recognized or appreciated.
Sometimes you will encounter people trying to steal your ideas and thoughts. So really have to be careful with the communication. Figure out why you were hired or why they want you around.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am the owner of LKSP (LondenKailie studio productions) Aside from acting and modeling myself I coach others. I also write movies scripts.
My specialty is production: being able to bring the difference you need to your business with my knowledge and skills.
Although I’ve been involved in many projects I think i am known for being the Executive Producer of YPTM (Yall Play Too Much) created by Josh Drake(SwitchAlert)
I am most proud of myself that little girl from Little Rock, Arkansas/Marianna that grew up as a teenager in Pleasant Grove never allowed anyone to change her
My beautiful mind sets me apart from others the way I think and approach certain situations is very different. I don’t see things the way everyone else does.
What makes you happy?
Besides my life, technology any gadgets. I told you I am a nerd. Spending most of my time writing, drawing, and singing.
My biggest thrill comes from sports anything that gets my adrenaline pumping. Whether I’m watching it or participating in it.
