Poetry came first—Stephenson’s private refuge during the storms of life. But as his faith deepened, writing evolved from a personal outlet into a public calling.
His upcoming rerelease book, Being (Still) Dad After Divorce, is rooted in both love and acceptance. The parenthetical “Still” wasn’t a minor edit—it was a reminder.
“Divorce doesn’t erase fatherhood,” he says. “I am still Dad. I always will be.”
His second book, The Woman I Love, releases December 28th, 2025. It tells the story of a man who questions love after heartbreak—until God opens a new path. A love story built on prayer, patience, and rediscovering romance when trust feels broken.

“Divorce doesn’t just end a marriage,” he says quietly. “It challenges who you thought you were. It forces you to rebuild not just a home—but a heart.”
Stephenson openly admits he faced days when motivation felt distant, and faith was the only thing still intact. There were moments where he questioned everything—his career path, his future, and whether love could ever be trusted again.
