Today we’d like to introduce you to Marvin Garcia
Hi Marvin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
It all began in 2010 at Fashion Week Honduras, and since then he has also presented collections on his own platform called “Heathrow Fashion Show.”
My inspiration has always been to elevate Honduras in the fashion industry.
“I love conveying ideas and being creative. When I’m looking for inspiration, I go back to my favorite designers: Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz, and Gianni Versace,”
I decided to move to the United States in 2016 with the dream of completing my academic training and also seeking to network internationally in the fashion industry.
“I decided to immigrate to the USA because I needed to advance in fashion. I really needed a higher education degree and to meet people in the industry to establish myself,” proving that I always had clear goals.Every day is an achievement in my life. Just waking up makes me thankful for all the wonderful things around me, for great opportunities, for being featured in magazines like Elle Magazine, Style Magazine, Grazia, etc.
Covering runway shows at NYFW and enjoying and learning from colleagues like Carlos Campos, who guides me every step of the way
I was recently invited to join CDFA (Carlos Campos) to collaborate and assist with styling on the Frederick Anderson runway. Sharing the runway and lighting with other stylists, other fashion enthusiasts, and famous models really makes my heart race.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At the Beginning was very hard to try ,i wasn’t sure about what im really can start.But meet the right people ,follow advices and graduated from a fashion school ,its really help me.
Struggles : maybe my anxiety and perfectionism , sometimes you can very frustrated wen your team cant express your ideas. Dallas have a lot of potential in Fashion but really people need to be more passionate and edgy about to how can developed fashion .

I am a Fashion Stylist / Designer . Fashion is my Temple . Im so proud to be a latino ,representing our community in the Big leagues.
Whats make me different ? Fashion is a worldwide language,but i can express different, my style is Bold and Glam , i love to bring back old fashion trends with the hottest trends .Love Music and Art ,i like to connect all those universes and create art dressing people,
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I grown up reading magazines, but in this era ,the acces to information is so much better . I follow accounts about financial topics in fashion, like BoF, LOVE TO READ NEWS ON vogue , Also my favorite plataform is tik tok,i love to see how new brands developed ideas of marketing like jacquemus or loewe.
