Rising Stars: Meet Nadia Sturdivant

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Nadia Sturdivant.

Nadia Sturdivant

Hi Nadia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Seed & Harvest Goods & Market was started with a mission to bring food to tables that would shift the way people enter a gathering.

We get to be the salt, the vessels that bring light and color to empty spaces, on the canvas of plates, and in the lives of people desiring nourishment.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A danger to the heart of our business would look like running and operating a business the way the world does.

Our services invite others to a table where we hope to nourish souls, not our pockets. This looks like humbly submitting our plans and serving with hospitality at the forefront of our mission.

We do this by remembering that Jesus did not come to be served but to serve. We choose to serve and keep our efforts faithful to our love calling.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We believe the hungry will be fed, and we’ve been gifted with the grace to act using our gifts and talents in hopes of delivering exceptional feasts to tables.

We choose to love by nourishing so that others may taste and see that the Lord is good. We hope our motives are sourced from the heart of the Father, reaching a multitude of tables.

What does success mean to you?
Success for us is obedience to God. We radically submit our plans and vision to the One who is faithful to see our assignments to completion.

We have recognized a call to serve involving wisdom that looks foolish in how the world at large does business. Our actions aim to be uncontaminated by self-interest and counterfeit faith; we desire a life open to God and His leading to His table.

When we serve as unto God, we can consider our efforts pure and set apart.
