Today we’d like to introduce you to Naomi Green.
Naomi, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
The COVID-19 pandemic made me realize just how important it was to have multiple streams of income, multiple gigs, and multiple hustles.
Then, after unexpectedly losing my full-time employment in 2025, that lesson became very real for me.
Instead of allowing that moment to stop me, I decided to really put my time, focus, and energy into ME — my businesses, my gifts, my experiences, and the things I had already been building.
I had already started my catering and events business, Just A Pinch, and my travel business, Just A Pinch of Travel. I was also doing public speaking, consulting, advocacy, community and public health work, philanthropy, serving on boards, organizations and task forces, and continuing my work within ballroom culture and the house community in Dallas, throughout the Gulf Coast, and across the country.
But I also decided to start sharing more of that journey with the world.
I started going LIVE, capturing ballroom moments and documenting the culture through my own lens — sharing videos, commentary and captions that helped people understand what they were watching while showcasing the talent, beauty, creativity and people who make this community what it is.
And baby… the people started watching.
In approximately 11 months, I’ve grown a BRAND-NEW TikTok to nearly 13,000 followers.
My Facebook went from around 300 followers to OVER 22,000.
My Instagram has grown to OVER 14,000.
And now more than 4,000 people are following me on YouTube.
Am I where I want to be yet when it comes to monetizing my platforms and turning all of this into another sustainable stream of income? No.
But look at what I HAVE been able to do.
I’ve been able to showcase the beauty of my community.
I’ve been able to show people the GIFT that ballroom culture truly is.
I’ve been able to help elevate individuals in my community and introduce their talent to people who may have never seen them otherwise.
And THAT means something to me.
My goal is to continue growing these platforms so that eventually I can create even more opportunities — not only for the individuals who walk, compete and participate in ballroom, but for the culture and community itself.
Ballroom deserves a platform.
Ballroom deserves visibility.
Ballroom deserves investment.
And the people who create this culture deserve opportunities because of it.
So while I’m building that, I’m also building ME.
If you need somebody to book your next cruise, destination resort, weekend getaway or vacation — I’m your gal.
If you need a public speaker, consultant or host for your next event — I’m your gal.
And if you’re looking to host a ball, vogue night or ballroom function and need somebody who actually KNOWS the culture — baby, I’m DEFINITELY your gal.

Just A Pinch
Just A Pinch of Travel
Multiple streams. Multiple gifts. Multiple passions.
And I’m just getting started.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely not been smooth sailing. There have been challenges along the way: inconsistent views, inconsistent corporate sponsorships, cutbacks in DEI initiatives and trainings at universities, corporations, and other organizations, cuts within public health, and even a slowdown in travel in some regards.
However, despite those challenges, I’ve been able to make it this far and persevere. I’m hopeful that I’ll continue to do so until I get to where I’m meant to be.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an entertainer and influencer, a connector of people, a visionary, an orator, and a teacher. I help teach people how to be better people and how to make their places and spaces better for others to exist, thrive, and feel seen. Ultimately, I use my voice, my platform, and my experiences to help people think differently about how we can make the world a better place.
I create beautiful experiences that showcase the culture, community, and vibrancy that Dallas and other cities and spaces truly possess. I’m known for bringing life into events, fundraisers, parties, and special occasions through my presence, public speaking, hosting, and event experience services.
I’m most proud of the community I’ve built of more than 50,000 people who enjoy watching my journey, experiencing my community through my eyes, and watching me build a movement.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and my ability to capture, articulate, and share stories and moments in ways that connect with people. Whether orally, visually, on a stage, through an event, or through digital content, I have the ability to make people see, feel, and experience a story — and that is what I believe I do better than anyone else.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is being able to make a difference in the world — to change people’s hearts and minds, to help as many people as I can, and to leave the world a better place than it was before I got here. More than anything, I want to leave behind a lasting legacy of love, service, impact, and positive change.
