Rising Stars: Meet Naubriaunna Hall

Today we’d like to introduce you to Naubriaunna Hall.

Naubriaunna, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I felt so lucky growing up with a mom who is a hairstylist. It allowed hair and other parts of the beauty industry to come very easy to me. I didn’t take it seriously until I went to college and began doing hair while in school. After realizing I was good at it, I chose to make it my full-time choice. I began working the moment I turned 16 years old and I’ve never been afraid to be the leader of the bunch. Although I was fine with being a leader in and outside of work, I found myself wanting to do things my way without being confined by a 9-5. The risk was large, but I will always say well worth it.

I ended my relationship with my last corporate job in 2018 when an extremely high allergy condition took over my life. Not being able to go to work or be out in public on a daily basis took a major toll on me. I used that time to push and motivate myself to start my business. It has not been the easiest thing whatsoever, but I know all obstacles are small things leading to huge victories.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Don’t we wish it was all a piece of cake? I have met many challenges on this road of entrepreneurship. I have dealt with a severe allergy for multiple years that keeps me tucked away some days with no notice. Not only is it a physical condition, but it can truly weigh down on the mental and emotional side. I battled days of not wanting to do a single thing and praying for some type of motivation. I started my business plan in Texas but decided to go back to Kansas for a year to get the ball rolling. After opening my first lash & loc studio in Kansas my shop was broken into and robbed! I was completely devastated! Starting over again product-wise wasn’t easy, but I did it. I could name so many things that have occurred and attempted to bring me down. I am so thankful to have the protection and strength of God to bring me onto the other side of each mountain I encounter. I know I was built for this so there is nothing that can stop me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am an eyelash tech as well as a loctician. I became an eyelash tech 3 years ago and added it to my area of expertise. I take much pride in the experience that I’m able to provide when I service each client. My goal is to promote healthy hair care and lashes all while making each person feel good and confident by the time, they leave my care. I exceed in my customer service skills as I realize that people may forget what you give them, but rarely forget how you made them feel. Educating my clients on how to maintain the health of their lashes and hair is a must. I don’t indulge in doing what’s popular if it will do harm.

On the other side of days, I started a nonprofit organization that provides wigs for women and children battling cancer. The organization began one year ago and it in a major growing position. The main goal of the organization is to spread love through helping this group of individuals feels beautiful at a time in life where this are tough outside of our control. Being centered around love and selflessness, the organization is searching for the perfect people to be a part of a huge change the nonprofit is preparing to make in the world. Not only are wigs provided, but support groups with lifetime access are implemented into the wig package.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
The easiest way to support my business is to like, follow and share my business pages which can be found on both Instagram and Facebook. One of the best feelings I get is when Someone I don’t know lets me know that they see and love my work. Networking with other small businesses is such a high priority for me this year and I am always looking and willing to work with other small businesses. Search my website and take a look, make a purchase from my growing beauty line, and leave a review! I appreciate every single person who supports me and my vision.
