Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Estep.
Hi Nick, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My background is in hair and cosmetics. I got my cosmetology license in 2004 and also worked at MAC cosmetics while I was in college. Getting my license was originally a back up plan but has become a career that I truly cherish. I have been given the opportunity to work in editorial, education, and behind the chair and have appreciated each for the incredible people that I have been able to work with and the knowledge acquired along the way. I’ve worked in Houston, Austin, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Dallas. Currently, I have a salon location in Frisco and one in Plano.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The hardest part of this industry is starting over when you move. Each time, you begin at the bottom and work your way up. It keeps you humble and treats you the importance of being kind to everyone along the way.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe that kindness, consideration, and listening to my client’s needs, lifestyle, routine, and maintenance makes all the difference in the world!
