Today we’d like to introduce you to Nickelle Minsloff.
Hi Nickelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Absolutely and thank you so much for having me. I started Rising Digital during a time when almost everything in my life was changing.
In early 2024, I left a career in HR that truthfully hadn’t felt like the right space for me for some time. I spent the next year piecing things together however I could while raising a toddler and navigating major family changes, including my mom being diagnosed with dementia and moving into memory care. That same year also marked the beginning of a spiritual awakening for me — and a very lonely one. Some close friendships quietly or not so quietly fell away, which pushed me to trust and believe in myself more deeply and to move forward without the support systems I thought would always be there.
I’ve always been a seeker. Some of my favorite authors like Marianne Williamson, Caroline Myss, Louise Hay and Rebecca Campbell have been integral in shaping how I see life and my love of the metaphysical. I never imagined being able to build a business around it. In 2025, I went to the Grapevine Wellness Expo for my first time, where I met Lezli, the Purple Rose Psychic. She had been doing channeled readings for friends and family for years, but had just begun stepping into her psychic work professionally and was learning how to navigate the ever changing world of social media. For weeks, I felt a nudge to reach out and offer my support with brand design and social media and I’m so glad I finally did — she became my first client. That one meeting led to referrals, friendships, a podcast with Ashwani from Southern Fried Psychics, and a growing community within the metaphysical space across Dallas–Fort Worth. I found my people.
Today, I’m proud to say that I am the founder of Rising Digital, a creative studio based in Dallas–Fort Worth specializing in brand and web design. As a Brand & Light Strategist, I help spiritual and wellness entrepreneurs bring the heart and light of their work forward through branding and design. When it came to naming the business, I chose the word Rising because it represents resilience and has now developed into my favorite mantra — that no matter how far I have fallen, I will always choose to rise.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all — it’s been anything but smooth.
Starting a business while navigating personal upheaval, single motherhood, financial uncertainty, and a spiritual awakening all at once was incredibly overwhelming at times. There were long stretches where I questioned myself, especially when people told me the market was too saturated or that it wasn’t realistic for me to build something of my own. Losing close friendships during that period was also painful. I do see that it forced me to learn how to stand on my own intuition and keep moving forward even when the support you hope to get from others isn’t there.
There were very real practical struggles too — inconsistent income, learning how to sell my services, figuring out systems, pricing, boundaries, and trusting that my way of working had value even if it didn’t look like everyone else’s. But each challenge clarified what I was building and why. It taught me resilience, discernment, and how to lead with both softness and strength. In many ways, the difficulties shaped Rising Digital just as much as the creative vision did.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Well I am so glad you asked! 🙂 I run Rising Digital, a creative studio based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area specializing in brand and web design for spiritual and wellness entrepreneurs. My professional background is actually in HR, but I’ve always been creative at heart and very much a people person. Even in corporate roles, I was drawn to the human side of work — understanding motives, personalities, communication styles, and what helps people feel seen and supported. That foundation has shaped the way I approach branding today. One of my favorite parts of my process is learning my client’s Human Design and integrating that into our collaboration along with sharing my own. There isn’t a cookie cutter template for everyone on how they work best and having this insight has helped tremendously.
I call myself a Brand & Light Strategist because my focus is bringing forward the heart/light of someone’s work, not just what they sell. Many of my clients are healers, psychics, coaches, and service-based founders who do meaningful work but struggle to express it visually or digitally in a way that feels true to them. I specialize in brand identity, websites, and creative direction that blend intuitive insight with practical structure, so their businesses can grow without losing their soul. As we say, energy doesn’t lie – neither should your brand.
I would say what I’m most proud of is building a studio that feels safe for people to be fully themselves and where “woo” is always welcome. I feel like many spiritual entrepreneurs think they need to dim their light to be taken seriously. What I strive for is to prove the that isn’t true— that authenticity is a strength, not a liability. What sets my work apart is that I start with listening and connecting with the client on a human level. Additionally, this niche is not something I am unfamiliar with as I have been learning about the metaphysical world for years. I’ll say the best feeling is when a client sees the way they have envisioned their brand reflected back to them and says, “This finally feels like me,” there is nothing like it.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
If there’s one thing I’d want people to take away, it’s that you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. So much of what I’ve built came from listening to small, quiet nudges rather than having a perfect plan. Growth doesn’t always look confident or loud — sometimes it looks like showing up tired, unsure, and still choosing to try.
I also hope anyone who feels a little different, intuitive, creative, or “too much” for traditional spaces knows that there is room for them. You don’t have to dim the parts of yourself that feel unconventional in order to be successful. In fact, those parts are often the point.
And finally, if you’re in a season that feels lonely or uncertain, don’t give up. Some chapters are meant to reshape you before they reveal what comes next. I’m living proof that even from the hardest seasons, something meaningful can rise.
