Hi Passion, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started writing because for a while I was lost in life. I wasn’t confident about myself. I began to lose hope. I felt like I didn’t belong in this world. Writing gave me confidence. Not only am I helping myself but it lead me to help others like me. I started modeling when the words became too much. I was tired of writing the same sad stuff. Modeling also gave me confidence. It makes me feel beautiful. It makes me feel like I am good enough. Acting is definitely a different kind of boost. I love the power to transform into the character. It’s a special kind of energy. I love everything that I do. It challenges me to be greater.
GOD has been my strength through it all.
My goal is to be known world wide. To not only be a pretty face but to make a difference. I feel that if one wins we all win. I want to be that encouragement for the little girls who believe they aren’t good enough.
I am dedicated and determined to make my dreams come true. I will continue to make my mark in this industry.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been easy at all. I will say that it’s rewarding though. Seeing my growth. Overcoming adversity and challenges in life. It made me stronger. It was the tests that made my testimony that much greater. That’s how I know that GOD has provided through the storm. There were many dark and lonely nights. I cried so many times. Even thought about ending it all. GOD told me to stay faithful and commit to the task. He took care of the rest. I’ve struggled with health issues my whole adult live. I suffer from Hidradenitis Suppurativa, PCOS, Depression and Anxiety. I would isolate myself because I didn’t want to feel like a burden. I often felt no one could understand my pain. That’s why I go so hard to be a voice for others like me. I let them know that we do matter. We have a purpose in life.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Poet, Model, Author and Actress. I’m very passionate about what I do. I love inspiring people especially young women. I focus on things that most people overlook or feel too uncomfortable to talk about. It’s important to have those hard conversations. It’s time to create more safe spaces. I let others know that they’re not alone. They don’t have to be ashame or afraid. I also am a firm believer that if you work hard enough you can achieve your goals.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Authenticity is a big part of who I am. It’s what my brand is about. Most people relate to my realness. Passion is a acronym. It stands for Plans And Sessions Set In On Novels. The Lioness is because I’m a Leo. My birthday is August 4th. I’m a leader. My favorite quote is Stand For Something or Fall For Anything.
