Today we’d like to introduce you to Paula Merriman.
Hi Paula, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a native Texan, and a realtor in the DFW area. I started real estate 4 years ago and have been top producer in my brokerage. I love meeting people from all different backgrounds and I love the housing market. I’m ready to help anyone who is ready to buy and/or sell!
I also like volunteering and being involved in my community. I volunteer with the Texas State Fair Youth Live Auction, The Byron Nelson, Creative Arts Judging,and the Dallas Christmas Parade. I also play soccer and travel with a team that has won or placed 2nd in tournaments in Mexico, Spain, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and St George, Utah. I also play indoor at Soccer Spectrum in Richardson and outdoor for NTWSA (North Texas Women’s Soccer Association)
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Real estate is up and down, so it can be challenging. Right now, for instance, interest rates are high, so buyers are hesitant to purchase a home. The market is always changing, so there’s always new challenges.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a realtor, and I specialize in buyers looking to make the biggest purchase of their life, and sellers selling their biggest investment of their life. There are large amounts of money involved and lots of emotions. I want to take the stress off of clients when buying and selling, so my motto is PutTheWeightOnMe.
I’m happy when I have a satisfied client and they either come back to me again to buy and sell, or they give me a referral.
What do you think about happiness?
Putting God first, then family and friends. Making a difference in other people’s lives and seeing them happy.
