Today we’d like to introduce you to SpaceMan Zack.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Zack Miller. I live in the Dallas, Fort Worth area. I was born in Rochester, NY and moved to Texas when I was around 12 years old. I started making music around this same time and did it as a hobby throughout school. Around the age of 18, I decided to really start taking music seriously as a career and focused my life into making it a life career!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. As for most artists, there has been a lot of obstacles along the way from mental health to “haters” to honesty just struggling with finances at the beginning. I am thankful for all of these obstacles at the same time, though because I think they have made me a better artist and a stronger person! Also I have to shout out all my friends and team that have helped me along the way T.Aubrey, J4Y, Elijah Heaps, Vlud Diamond, Cameron Almasi and way more too many to name but I love you all!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a musician, I don’t like to really box myself in with a genre as I like to experiment with all types but to categorize it. I would say I mostly make a mix of alternative rock and rap music! I think I am mostly proud of my music reaching as many people as possible as my music is very personal and therapeutic to myself! I think one thing that sets me apart is my desire to really just be as genuine as possible! I’m honestly just thankful I get to help others with my music!
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I do believe I am a risk-taker, but I also believe anyone in the industry of creative arts or entrepreneurship is a risk-taker in their own way for following their dreams! I believe taking risks is one of the most important things you can do in this life to find your happiness. Someone once told me that the greatest things in life are right on the other side of risk and doing something that scares you to succeed! That has always stuck with me!
