Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Molina
Hi Stephanie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Coming from a Mexican home, you know growing up wasn’t as easy. My parents worked doubles to try and supply our needs and keep a roof over our heads. Watching them work their entire life and fight for what they’ve wanted made me aim harder for my goals. My entire family has always been in the hospitality business, so that’s where my bartending story begins.
At 18, I was working with my mom at her job, learning as I went by. Watching the people work they bar with such passion inspired me to give it a try. Little by little started building my confidence to become a mixologist myself! Got my license to handle alcohol and boom it all begins!
I enjoy learning on everything I do, whether it’s from me, researching or simply just asking around! Everything I do with my hands I do with so much love and passion. I love creating and just applying techniques needing to create fun and delicious cocktails.
As time passes, my ultimate goal is to teach every woman out there that no matter what is thrown at you, you create your palace. Everything’s possible if you really want it.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, it really never is once you begin your own business, and I feel like if people out there tell you it’s really isn’t. They’re lying, lol.
The whole “how do I start?” Kicked in and pushing yourself out of then”what ifs”. Preparing, making sure you’re prepared with the right tools, the knowledge of mixing and serving.
As time went by, I’ve had my own family. To me, they’re my inspiration on running my business but at the same time my business is time consuming. While I’m out serving and making sure my clients are well taken care of I keep my kids and husband on my mind. I also do have a regular job with precise hours and the whole staying up late and waking up early caught up to me. But overall, I pray and also have learned to give my self grace.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
