Rising Stars: Meet Ternesha Womack

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ternesha Womack.

Hi Ternesha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I contribute me getting started due to the COVID pandemic. Like everyone else, I was home a lot and found myself thinking about where I wanted to be in life even more than I normally would. For years, I put off some of the things I wanted to do due to being afraid, but in 2020 that went away. Then came the creation of “The Life of Tee,” my blogging website and my photography business, “To The Tee Photography.” Today, I am grateful for where I am. Being a blogger/photographer, has granted me opportunities to form relationships with others in the community, as well as step outside of the tiny box I placed myself in. I have always been a creative person and I am grateful for that. Nothing brings me more happiness than watching my thoughts and ideas come to life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Has it been easy? Absolutely not, and I’d be lying if I said I thought it would be. There are times when I doubt my abilities and I begin to think that maybe my content or work isn’t good enough. Also, living in a world of social media and feeling like you always have to keep up with trends and compare yourself to others, can send you down a dark hole as well. But, of course, nothing in life is easy, I try to look at it as a way to grow!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a blogger, I provide content based on all things regarding lifestyle. I create natural hair videos, I discuss my faith, I offer advice/tips, and a list of other things. As a photographer, I specialize in lifestyle as well. I capture outdoor, portrait, and family photos.

I’m most proud of my growth as a person. If someone were to tell me that I would be where I am today, I would probably laugh. I always knew that I had the potential to be where I am, but I didn’t know if I would have the confidence to achieve it. What sets me apart from others is that I am my true self, basically what you see is what you get. I love who I am, why spend time trying to be someone else?

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that is surprising that many may not know is that I am an introvert! Any time I ever tell someone that I am, it shocks them. Judging from social media, most will not know. I’ve found that it is way easier to be more outgoing online than in person.
