Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Todd.
Hi Tiffany, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a former school teacher turned Real Estate Strategist. I never had an interest in selling Real Estate, but at the time I was desperate to leave the classroom. One of my former Realtors that helped my sister and I purchase a home made a Facebook post that she was starting her own Brokerage and looking for 10 people to train to sell Real Estate. I reached out to her and she provided me the information and two weeks later I was sitting in my first Real Estate class. I was a teacher during the week and a Real Estate student on the weekends. I became a licensed Realtor on my 30th birthday. My Real Estate journey didn’t come easy. My first few transactions came with it’s challenges and had me questioning if I had made the right decision to quit my job to sell Real Estate. Literally every transaction that came my way had an issue that resulted in me not getting paid or me reducing my compensation. I had racked up $30,000 worth of debt and I was BROKE! At the time I would talk to my grandmother every day and she would encourage me to keep trying and to think positive. She told me not to worry about money. I did just that kept pushing forward, and one day while sitting in the office a light bulb went off. I thought to myself, you know I’m facing all of these challenges so early on so that one day I will be able to help other agents when they face these or similar challenges. It was at that moment things began to shift. I went from hardly any business to consistent business and becoming one of the top agents in my office. As my business began to grow I started putting systems in place to help my business continue to flow. I haven’t looked back since. Today, I help other agents that are new in the business while still growing and improving my business. I’m doing this all for my children and soon to be born grandbaby…. They are my WHY in business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Real Estate Strategist. I help my clients not only just buy and sell Real Estate, but I teach them how to build wealth through Real Estate. A lot of my clients have been in their homes for a while so I show them how they can pull equity to purchase other investments. I also service Relocation customers. I have referral partners in all 50 states and in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands. No matter if a client of my moves out of Texas, I’m able to connect them with one of my referral partners. I also help family and friends if they’re relocating as well. What sets me apart from others is I am a one stop shop Real Estate Strategist. When my clients work with me they don’t have to do anything extra because I have everything they need in place. I am most proud that I am a single mother running a successful Real Estate business that continues to grow. I love helping people.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I like that there’s always something to do and that the city continues to grow. The city has activities for everyone i.e. singles, couples, kids, and families. My least favorite thing about the city is the traffic in some areas and the politics of the city.
