Today we’d like to introduce you to Tylantiss Atlas.
Hi Tylantiss, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m currently getting my master’s at the Murray State in Kentucky. However, I’ve always had a passion for music. I went to the University of Alaska Anchorage where I received my Bachelor’s. I also ran track in Alaska on scholarship. My sophomore year I started writing music and I immediately fell in love. Music is how I cope in the crazy world we live in. I believe I have what it takes to become one of the biggest stars in Dallas & also worldwide.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Although I used to sleep in the car, nobody really knew; I never given up though. I was aware of what God had planned for me and that I would achieve greatness. Success came in countless quantities. My achievement is a result of God and my mum. The foundation of my achievement is my mom. I have a strong relationship with God, and I am aware that every setback has a significant upside. The fact that I slept in the car and went through everything I did prepared me for where I am now. Never did I cry, and never did I bury my head. Time didn’t allow for it, so I hold my head high because God commanded me to. God wanted to see how I would react and if I was prepared for where he was taking me. Sleeping in the car was just a test, and I’m more prepared than ever. It’s my year, 2023! As my grandfather would say “If you promote God, God will promote you”
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Everyone knows me as a track star, but I’m rebranding myself as an artist. I write music & I do it well. I’m a female rap artist.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out.
No matter what, always keep pushing. Take pride in resilience; most individuals fail at life because they stop trying. Those that are the most successful believe in their goals despite who doesn’t. You have to have a strong mind to succeed, or you’ll be left behind. Failure isn’t an option, you have to believe in yourself or no one else will. Success is the only objective; focus on you & be selfish with your time. Everyone believes that you should enjoy your 20s & not focus as much on your goals & that’s a lie. Focus on your goals while you’re young; it’s way easier to achieve success the younger you are. If you’re in your 20s, you’re in your prime. Do what needs to be done so by your 30s, you have already achieved a certain level of success to where you can relax. However, always strive for greatness.
