Mazi Millionz shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Mazi, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
To be FULLY in my calling. My calling of helping and being of service for others. To impact their lives.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Mazi Millionz. Half owner of “Can I Be Real” Productions with my brother Deon. We had a YouTube channel that is a podcasting network with multiple podcasts on it. We also coach Entrepreneurs and Business owners monetize and market their products/ brand through Social Media content. I’ve been doing content for over 10 years. From mindset, to car vlogs, to fitness and now Podcasting and Coaching.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
The moment I seen my father work a job over 60 hours a week. Causing him not to be home as much. Hard labor work that took a toll on his body over the years and in that moment I KNEW it had to be more to life. More than giving all my energy and time to a job that doesn’t help me to serve my purpose.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that in those low moments is where your real wins are made. Suffering gave me all the tools I needed and prepared me for the next level of my life and my career.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
The industry I’m in tells the lie that EVERYBODY that on social media is “winning” that no one is goes through tough times, and that the only way to monetize your content is to have a lot of followers or likes.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
One thing I had to learn about life, especially being an entrepreneur is that you can’t care about being “misunderstood”. Being misunderstood is about of having success in life.
