We’re looking forward to introducing you to Micah Trigg. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Micah, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
One of the things I’m most proud of building is my independence.
For many years, I was co-dependent on my parents for survival. But about four years ago, I took a leap of faith and moved to Dallas on my own—and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made.
Since then, I’ve been completely self-sufficient and able to do all the things I love, especially traveling. I’ve already visited four countries solo, and next month I’ll be heading on the trip of my dreams—to Dubai!
Looking back, the best thing I’ve ever built isn’t just a life I love—it’s the confidence and freedom that come with independence. I’m truly thankful for how far I’ve come.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Micah Trigg. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan, currently living in the DFW area. I work with seniors for a living, helping them with their Medicare and life insurance. I enjoy servicing the community and have a passion for helping people, especially the elderly. Before I got into insurance, I was a plus model and creative, which I still like to do from time to time. When I’m not working, I am traveling the world. This year alone, I’ve been to four countries, and I’m going to Dubai next month, which I am very excited about. My favorite thing to do is to travel the world and experience different cultures and meet different people.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
Since I can remember, I’ve always carried a deep sense of inner power. Even as a little girl, I had a strong sense of self and a natural confidence that made me believe I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. That unwavering self-belief has been the driving force behind my journey—it’s what’s allowed me to break barriers, stay resilient, and keep growing. I’ve always known that my confidence wasn’t something I had to learn; it was something I was born with.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me resilience. It showed me that I’m stronger than I ever realized. Every challenge I’ve faced has shaped my character and deepened my strength. During difficult times, I learned to focus not on the problem, but on the next step forward. The moment I shifted my mindset and believed things would get better, they always did. Through it all, suffering revealed that I am a woman of extraordinary resilience and faith.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
That Life is a reflection of our belief system. Every experience, circumstance, and outcome mirrors the choices we’ve made and the mindset we hold. Where we are today is the result of our own decisions—both conscious and unconscious. Unfortunately, many people avoid accountability and prefer to blame others for their situation instead of looking in the mirror and acknowledging their role in it. Whether it’s financial hardship, unhealthy relationships, or missed opportunities, everything in our lives reflects our beliefs and habits. True change begins the moment we take ownership and transform those beliefs from within.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I want to be remembered as a fearless woman of character—someone strong-minded, passionate, and full of heart. A woman who loved people deeply, who led with purpose, laughter, and confidence. Someone ambitious enough to chase her dreams and humble enough to stay grounded in gratitude. I want people to remember me as a woman who embraced life fully—traveling the world, experiencing different cultures, and living boldly in every moment. And I hope that when they tell my story, they do so with the same light and love that I poured into the world.
