Pascale Sylvain shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Pascale, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
There really isn’t a “normal” day for me right now. My mornings usually start early with the horses and training, then I shift straight into running The Bijoux FAB — overseeing production, inventory, content, live sales, and strategy. Somewhere in between, I’m creating, problem-solving, and making decisions that move the business forward. Every day is fast, intense, and full, but it’s exactly how I like it. I’m building a brand and chasing big goals at the same time, and both demand everything I’ve got.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Pascale Sylvain, the founder of The Bijoux FAB. I started the brand at my mom’s kitchen table with a handful of handmade pieces and a big vision, and today we design and produce American-made jewelry worn in thousands of stores across the country. What makes The Bijoux FAB different is that we build everything ourselves — from sourcing and production to storytelling and live sales — and we do it with grit, creativity, and zero shortcuts. I’m also a professional barrel racer, and both worlds reflect the same mindset: show up, work harder than anyone expects, and keep pushing forward. Right now, I’m focused on scaling the brand even further while staying rooted in the authenticity that built it in the first place.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling truly powerful was when I realized I could control how I reacted to things. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I learned to stay positive, look for solutions, and keep moving forward. I started seeing closed doors not as rejection, but as redirection — often for my own good. That mindset changed everything for me, and it’s still how I approach life and business today.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Definitely — many times. But every time I felt like quitting, I asked myself, what if the next time is the one that works? I’ve also noticed that the hardest seasons of my life usually come right before something big happens. The deeper the struggle, the bigger the growth and the reward on the other side. Once I understood that, giving up stopped feeling like an option.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
100%. The version people see is the real me. I’m extremely vulnerable on social media — I share the wins, the struggles, and everything in between. I don’t believe in showing a polished highlight reel. What you see is what you get, and that honesty is what truly connects people to my story.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say I showed them what was possible. That I didn’t come from much, but I built something real through hard work, faith, and consistency. More than anything, I hope my story gives others permission to believe in themselves, keep going when it’s hard, and never quit on the life they feel called to live.
