Today we’d like to introduce you to Adriana Meyerovitz.
Adriana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. I moved to the United States for college and graduated from Brandeis University in 1994 with a double major in Biology and Psychology. I then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from Sarah Lawrence College in New York in 1997. I dedicated nine+ years to the Biotech Industry, where I was involved in day-to-day patient care, corporate projects, e-business, staff training and customer relations.
With that arsenal of experience and a solid education, in late 2007 I took a 180 degree turn in terms of my professional life and I decided it was time to join our family owned business. This is when my story truly evolved and I became an integral part of the Promote in Tandem team. It was a completely new career path but I was thrilled at the prospect of reinventing my professional life while still staying true to my core values and strong work ethic.
As the current Dallas Region President of Promote In Tandem, I have tried to infuse a fresh and bright perspective to Promotional Sales & Specialty Advertising. Utmost attention to detail ensures that our client’s brand derives the highest possible value from the design, execution, and delivery of customized branded merchandise. With a varied background in marketing, promotional advertising, and genetic counseling, I strive to remain customer focused & service oriented.
Has it been a smooth road?
Owning and growing Promote in Tandem has been for the most part a smooth and fun ride. No two days are the same and that makes our job scary but at the same time thrilling. Like any new business, we did experience some growing pains along the way. That being said, none of the hurdles or struggles we have faced have discouraged us from continuing to strive to offer excellent customer service and 100% dedication to our clients.
The biggest struggle I can pinpoint has been working with a vendor/supplier that did not manufacture a good quality product for us, or did not allow us to deliver on time for a given event. On a positive note, each time we “ran into trouble” we turned that negative result into a learning experience and established new protocols and internal safety nets that would prevent similar problems in the future. In my opinion, negative experiences also serve a purpose, as one can always learn from mistakes/mishaps and ensure to improve when given a second chance.
We tell all our clients that what sets us apart from other businesses like us is that we stick by them not only when things are easy but also when the going gets tough. We make sure to provide constant hand holding and support no matter what the circumstances might be. This policy of “through thick and thin” is what makes many of our clients so loyal year after year….

The truth is that even though the Promo Industry is saturated in Dallas, there is enough business to go around and there is plenty of room for growth.
We started with small clients and community projects almost 10 years ago. At this stage, we still work with many of our original clients but we have also expanded our reach to large corporations and very well-known brands/clientele.
